The Selfie…..just kidding. Though trust me, you wouldn’t want to see a close up of my face right now, I’ve been sick all over Christmas. It’s been a quiet one in this house, myself and the small boy have spent our days in front of the fire watching Harry Potter movies. His father has been dodging the germs by carrying on with the usual Christmas tradition of going out and getting hammered. Chance would be a fine thing. Anyway, I digress.
So I was away for the weekend in Dublin & I went a small bit mad shopping with Karen from Lovely Girlie Bits. I’d planned on getting some clothes & boots & some beauty bits. But none of the clothes/shoes I wanted were in stock so I blew the entire budget on beautification. Plus some jewellery from Parfois thrown in for good measure. I also ordered a few bits online in the last few weeks. So here are the pics of my haul. I went on a bit of a spending spree recently and picked up quite a few bits. So I decided to do a face of the day featuring a few of them so I could do a few mini reviews all in the one post. Continue reading
Day Makeup Look
To be honest, this changes to from day to day. It’s a variation on a theme really, for the most part I stick with a fairly natural look. The odd day I throw in a bright lip to spice things up a bit. I don’t often wear eyeshadow on a day to day basis, unless I’m going somewhere. Soooo this is today’s look:
Daily Make Up Products
Currently my daily face is as follows:
Laura Mercier Foundation Primer (thanks to Orla for the tube she sent me, it’s been a god send in the heat). Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, my beloved Nars Sheer Glow did not stand up to the heat very well, the Armani has better sticking power. Nars loose powder in Snow, Nars Deep Throat (get your mind out of the gutter) blusher. Urban Decay primer potion for eyes, Urban Decay Naked Palette, Le Volume De Chanel mascara, Nars Gloss Pencil in New Lover and of course my Real Techniques brushes.
